Alnico permanent magnets are the oldest magnetic material in the word ,and very famous because of the best working temperature coefficient and high remanence (Br), but Coercivity(Hcb) is very low, it is easy demagnetized, so you should take care about packing way and can not let other strong magnets near them after they are magnetized.
According to different process, there are sintered alnico and cast alnico. Sintered alnico can make into small size with better tolerance by cutting and machine way, but lower properties than cast alnico’s. Cast alnico can be made into many kind of shape by casting.
